I view the model office as a way to get the people who&#039;ll use the system involved in testing it &lt;i&gt;during&lt;/i&gt; its development. Because they are involved and using the system from an early stage they can get changes made to the system as its being built.

Obviously, this will reduce the time needed for UAT at the end of the work - as they will already be happy with the system more or less from model office testing. You could think of the model office as being like performing E2E testing with real users, beginning very early within the project&#039;s lifecycle.
